Here’s everything you need to know about our installation services, prop hire,

DIY options, fees, and hire terms.

Whether you’re booking balloons, backdrops, or frames – we’ve got you covered.

 

🚚 Service Options

We offer four ways to get your hire items:

Pickup – Free from our Campbelltown location during storage hours.

Delivery Only – We drop it to you; you set it up yourself (fee calculated at checkout).

Delivery + Installation – We deliver, set up, (install fee applies in addition to delivery)

  • book collection

Collection –$35.00 , We pick up hire items from your location

 When We Install

✅ We deliver – straight to your venue (delivery fee at checkout)
✅ Set up exactly where it needs to go — no guesswork, no stress

✅ A secure, tidy, and photogenic finish

⚠️ Installation is only available with delivery – we don’t install on pickup orders.

Bottom line: You point, we pop it in place. You relax, we make it fabulous.

💸 Installation Fee: Flat Rate $80.00 per booking

Where Can We Install?

  • Solid walls (we use removable, surface-safe hooks)

  • Doors and sturdy frames

  • Ceilings or beams (if safe anchor points exist)

👉 Some venues do not allow wall installations.
If your venue has no suitable surface, a frame will be required.

Frame & Prop Options

  • Hire a frame from us

  • Supply your own frame or signs 

 

If you supply a frame, it must be:

  • Fully set up before we arrive

  • Sturdy and safe (no wobbling, flimsy materials, or leaning)

  • Outdoor items must be properly weighted or tied to a post or tree

We cannot wait while frames are being assembled or adjusted on-site.

 

💸 Additional Charges

  • Frame Collection (if required) $35.00

  • Out-of-Hours Setup (before 7AM or after 6 PM) 90.00

  • Tight or Access / Stairs $50.00

  • Wait Time (if venue isn’t ready) $30.00 per 15 mins

(invoice will be sent to the email on file and prompt payment in 7 days) 

📅 Hire Period & Returns

  • Standard Hire Window: 72 hours

  • Weekend Events: Pickup/Delivery Friday → Return/Collection Monday (no Sunday returns)

  • Midweek Events: Pickup/Delivery the day before event → Return/Collection two days after

Return Options:

  • Self-Return: Free to Campbelltown HQ within hire period during storage hours

  • Collection: $35.00 pick-up fee (based on location)

  • Same-Day Collection: Available if pre-booked (from $80.00)

 

Hire Item Care

Hire items must be returned in the same condition as delivered.

✔️Minor wear is acceptable (small scratches and party scuffs).

❌Major damage, missing parts, or breakage will incur fees.

Invoices for damages will be emailed with 7-day payment terms.
If a security bond was paid, damages may be deducted from the bond.
If damages exceed the bond amount, the remaining balance must be paid within 7 days.

✔️We photograph all hired items at delivery and return

to document their condition.

  • Customers are responsible for securing their own outdoor frames

and props after installation.

Glitz N Twists accepts no responsibility for customer-supplied frames, props, or signage.

Venue & Setup Requirements

Applies to All Setups

  • Safe, close parking must be available.

  • Venue access must be confirmed with the venue prior to our arrival.

  • Customers must confirm delivery, installation, and access directly with their venue.

  • If the venue isn’t ready, blocked, or access is denied when we arrive, wait time charges apply.

  • If installation cannot proceed, all charges will remain non-refundable.

  • Customer-supplied frames and props must be fully assembled, sturdy, and ready before we arrive.

  • We cannot wait while customer-supplied items are being built or adjusted on-site.

  • Glitz N Twists accepts no responsibility for customer-supplied items after installation.

Indoor Setups

  • Flooring must be flat and safe for setup.

  • Solid, surface-safe anchor points (like walls, doors, or beams) must be available.

  • Some venues do not allow hooks or wall attachments – it’s your responsibility to confirm this.

Outdoor Setups

  • Outdoor installations require a weather-safe backup plan.

  • We recommend double-stuffed balloons for outdoor use – they hold up better in heat and wind.

  • Choosing indoor-style balloons or props for outdoor use is at your own risk.

  • We do not install in unsafe weather (high wind, heavy rain, storms).

  • If no weather backup is provided, your installation may be cancelled on the day and all charges remain non-refundable.

  • Outdoor frames, props, and signage must be heavy-duty, properly weighted, or securely tied to a post or tree.

  • Customer-supplied outdoor frames must be secured by the customer after installation is complete.

Glitz N Twists hire frames will be secured by us during installation.

DIY Balloon & Prop Setups

Want to keep it simple and save on installation? We offer plenty of DIY-friendly options.

DIY Available On:

  • Balloon bouquets

  • Small garlands

  • Table centrepieces

  • Gift deliveries

  • Some prop packages (Look for "DIY Available" on the product page)

What DIY Means:

  • We deliver everything fully inflated and ready to use.

  • You (or your venue team) set it up on-site.

  • No need for us to install or hang anything.

Great for: Simple parties, self-setup venues, and small events.

DIY Reminder:
We love our customers, but we don’t have time to walk you through the install step-by-step.
If you think you’ll need help setting it up, please book our installation service to avoid stress and last-minute issues.

Important for DIY Setups:

  • Customer-supplied frames must be safe, sturdy, and fully set up before we arrive.

  • Outdoor setups must be properly weighted or tied down.

  • Glitz N Twists is not responsible for how DIY setups are installed, secured, or maintained after delivery.

Payment Terms

  • Full payment is required to secure your booking.

  • Security bonds (if applicable) must be paid before delivery.

  • Damage or replacement invoices must be paid within 7 days.

 

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations made more than 14 days before your event will receive a full refund, excluding the non-refundable deposit.

  • Cancellations made within 14 days of your event will forfeit all fees and charges and are not eligible for full refunds, as materials are purchased specifically for your booking.

  • Refunds or credits for cancellations made within 14 days will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Weather-Related Cancellations

  • Outdoor installations require a weather-safe backup plan.

  • If you do not provide a backup and the installation cannot proceed due to unsafe weather, your service will be cancelled, and all charges will remain non-refundable.

Refund Processing

  • Refunds will be processed promptly, but please allow time for your bank to complete the transaction.

Customer Agreement

By booking with Glitz N Twists, you agree to these Installation & Hire Terms & Conditions.
